Gravity Die Casting
Gravity die casting is a permanent mould casting process. At this process, the aluminum melt is poured into the mold by gravity (unlike pressure die casting). Advantages of this process include the possibility of low gas porosity, and fine grain sizes can be achieved.
The most used alloys are the following:
ADC3(A360), ADC10(A380), ADC12(A383), ZDC2(ZAMAK 3) and ZDC1(ZAMAK 5).
Special alloys can be used upon request.
